About Us

The first Yat Sing was opened back in 1978, originally in downtown Los Altos. It began and remains today as a family run business. Altogether, a total of 8 family members managed and employed the original location. Years later, Raymond branched off and opened his own restaurant in Redwood City (Marsh Manor Shopping Center) with the help of his wife Millie in April of 1987. Just recently in November of 2004, the husband and wife combo expanded yet again with their second Redwood City location at Woodside Plaza. The Los Altos location ended up moving over to Pleasanton, where it currently is today.
