Wings was opened in 2005 by myself and Don MacKay. We both have decades of experience in the club and fitness business and wanted Wings to be special. My wife and I wanted Wings to be a place where we were both comfortable. Our members tell us we succeeded.
In so many ways Wings is a great place to exercise for both beginners and regulars, and for women and men. The inviting atmosphere feels like a gym you might put in your own home. While Wings has a wonderful reputation for helping beginners get started, we have the equipment and staff to train you for anything. While a good percentage of our members are over 50 and some in the nineties, younger athletes also train at Wings. The common ground is that everyone is looking for results and a good safe workout.
