About Us
The Hornets Nest Sub Shop has been established and celebrating 40 great years. We are the home of the North Reading Hornets, and proud to be located in the wonderful community of North Reading, MA 01864. The Hornets Nest sub shop first became famous for our cheese steaks subs. We use only Fresh, high quality beef loins for all our steak subs. We never use inferior boxed pre-cut shaved steak. We hand cut them daily and still prepare and Hand Cut "our famous" steak and cheese subs the same "ORIGINAL WAY" ! You will not taste a better cheese steak anywhere! In addition to cheese steaks, we also make hand tossed Italian Thin Crust Pizza and Delicious Calzones, which we prepare our dough and sauce fresh daily on the premises. We have a large variety of Fresh Salads, Wraps, Pockets, and Signature Subs. We Fresh Bake our own Sub Rolls. We Make our own home-made Chicken Cutlets, Meatballs, Turkey, Roast Beef, Chicken Salad. We marinate our own Sirloin Steak Tips and Chicken Tips. Also on the menu are Chicken fingers, Chicken Wings, French Fries, Onion Rings, Mozzarella Sticks and much more....
