About Us Moses Quartey, who purchased the business from Michael Davis back in 2001, owns our barbecue restaurant. Michael had originally purchased the restaurant from Ted Cook in 1986 and is still currently managing the restaurant. These men have carried on the proud tradition of creating delicious, pit smoked barbecue and traditional soul food that continues to attract customers from throughout the Minneapolis area.
