Located in the historic Lafayette Square neighborhood, in the former Western Wire Factory, SqWires’ setting is a picture-perfect renovation of an old Victorian building. We preserved original 19th century elements and added a handcrafted steel fireplace and comfortable leather banquette seating in the dining room. We’ve hung oils by Mary Sqrague and feature restored overhead factory pulley systems, industrial ceiling fans, exposed brick and beams to create a notable setting for you to meet and eat and drink. We’ve made it handy for you to get online at SqWires with our wireless network. Our outdoor dining is available to enjoy the St. Louis weather in spring and summer. Just a 3 minute cab ride from downtown, you can relax in the dining room by the fireplace or dine in the bar and enjoy a bottle of wine at a candle-lit table or select a favorite single malt scotch or imported or domestic brew.
