It was back in 1986 that spiritual teacher Sri Chinmoy (1931-2007) inspired us to open a small vegetarian restaurant in the University District, where we were located for 19 years. In 2005 we moved to our present location in Fremont. Not only do we want you to be satisfied with your meal, we also want you to be fulfilled when you come here as our guest. Using the best ingredients for our meals is our way to make sure that you are served the best possible food. To make it even more tasty and to ensure that it really is worth being called Soul Food, we know that there are two more essential ingredients: Our LOVE & JOY in what we do
