About Us
O'Falafel Etc. is a family owned restaurant that opened its doors in Salt Lake City in 2008. Owners Mustafa and Osama Khader hail from Jerusalem and a family with exceptional culinary taste. Chef Mustafa is a third generation restaurateur who studied in a Swiss culinary school, specializing in pastry. His love for healthy Mediterranean cuisine prompted him to open a restaurant in Jerusalem, then Chicago, then Jerusalem again. When he moved to Salt Lake City in 2006, Mustafa and his nephew, Osama, decided to open O'Falafel Etc. A savvy entrepreneur, Osama has extensive management experience and is the restaurant's business manager.
With nearly 40 years in the business, Khader knows his food! O'Falafel Etc. prides itself in using only the freshest ingredients and baking its own pita bread daily. Customers enjoy healthy, delicious and reasonably-priced Mediterranean food coupled with friendly service. No wonder they always come back for more!
