Class Description
Tumblekid classes
These classes are for boys and girls 3-5 years old. They are independent classes, the child participates without a parent. tumblekid classes are designed to build confidence and core strength while introducing circuit work and basic gymnastics skills to prepare them for the general classes.
General Gymnastics Classes
Theses classes are for girls 5 years old and older. Children will be taught basic gymnastics skills on Vault, Uneven Bars, Balance Beam, and the Floor Exercise as well as Trampoline/Tumble Track. While these classes can prepare the gymnasts for the team program gymnast do not have to progress to the competitive team program.
Tumbling Classes
These classes are for gymnast who want to specialize on basic tumbling skills only. The class will use the floor exercise mat and the Trampoline/Tumble Track., great for cheerleaders and competitive dancers. Gymnasts will not be instructed on the Uneven Bars, Balance Beam or Vault.
LIttle Ninja Warriors
Northeast Warrior kids is a fun high energy class for both boys and girls who may not be interested in learning traditional gymnastics but would love to experience the thrill of it! In this class, we will be using our current gymnastics and preschool equipment to teach basic gymnastics skills such as balancing, running, jumping, swinging, rolling and cartwheeling. The children will also be taught the proper way to fall and land safely. A portion of the class will be spent working on physical benefits including increased strength, agility, endurance and flexibility. By teaching the children to have fun while being a "warrior" we are helping to instill a lifelong love of activity and physical fitness while increasing their overall self-confidence. Little Warriors is for children 3-5 years old.

Virtual Classes
Video classes to participate without leaving your home. These classes are currently offered for beginner gymnastics, adv. beg. gymnastics and yoga.
Team Program
Northeast Gymnastics offers a Competitive and a Pre Competitive team.
Northeast Gymnastics is a proud competing member of the USAIGC National/International competitive gymnastics program for female athletes.
Here at Northeast, we offer two types of team programs: Our Pre-Team is comprised of gymnasts working on the necessary skills required for competition Pre Team members practice Wed. and Fri. from 4:15pm -6:00pm
Our Competitive Team program features gymnasts who have already achieved the necessary skill set to compete in one of the designated USAIGC competitive levels.
These gymnasts have opportunities to participate in State, National, and International competitions throughout the year.
Competitive Team members practice Mon., Wed., and Fri. 6:00pm - 8:30pm during the school
Mon, Tue, Thur. and Fri. 8:30am 1:00pm during the summer
Our Team Program is a yearly commitment and team gymnasts are hand selected from our General Class students
or by way of a tryout, for those gymnasts transferring from another gym.

Birthday parties are held for any girl turning 5 years old or older
Each party at Northeast Gymnastics last for an hour and a half. The first hour of organized fun is taught by one of our highly qualified instructors and takes place in the gym. Children at the party will participate in parachute games, work on the gymnastics obstacle course, swing on the rope, jump on the trampoline and of course jump into our foam pit! To make sure that your guest can enjoy the activities please ask that they wear clothing without zippers, snaps or buckles, long hair should be tied up and please no jewelry. Every child attending the party must have a SIGNED RELEASE form to participate !
The last half hour is held in our private viewing room and is time for cake and presents or what ever you would like
Where our hostess will take care of everything, parents can sit back and enjoy the easiest party they have ever held!
Northeast Gymnastics Summer Extended Classes
Northeast offers gymnastics extended classes during school vacation breaks as well as throughout the Summer
These classes are open to all girls 5 years old and older no experience is needed. These classes are attended by gymnasts ranging from the beginning level all the way to advanced. Gymnasts do not need to be a member of Northeast Gymnastics to attend. Extended classes are offered during the winter, February, and Spring breaks as well as Summer.
Our extended classes are run and taught by our qualified professional staff, the very same instructors that work with our gymnasts during the year
Gymnasts receive daily instruction on the Vault, Uneven Bars, Balance Beam, and Floor Exercise. The gymnasts also work on core strength and flexibility. Any child attending camp should wear a leotard or T-shirt and shorts free of belt buckles, zippers, or snaps. Gymnasts should be barefoot and shoulder-length or longer hair must be tied back.
Tuition must be paid for in full two weeks before the start of camp

About Us
We feature a 5,000 square foot training facility complete with a full line of women's Olympic apparatus and the area's largest selection of preschool equipment. Northeast also features a foam-filled pit for safe learning progressions, as well as a 25 foot long Tumble-Track to teach tumbling. Northeast Gymnastics is a proud member of the USAIGC (United States Association of Independent Gymnastics Clubs). Our goal is to become the highest quality gymnastics program in the Albany, New York area.
