Prüm estate began with Sebastian alois prüm; his brother jodocus constructed iconic wehlener and zeltinger sundials. Of his six sons, only mathias married. In 1911, the estate was split amongst mathias' four sons and three daughters, eldest son was johann josef. When joh. jos. Fell ill, his son Sebastian took over in 1920 and went to establish the world repute, which continues to this day. After Sebastian's death in 1969, his son manfred assumed responsibilities, and today with his oldest daughter katharina, perpetuate a style that has become a mosel archetype: wines of delicacy and restrained sweetness. Wehlener sonnenuhr – pure, weathered devon slate, quite stony. Graacher himmelreich – very deep soiled, weathered devon and blue slates. Zeltinger sonnenuhr – in the best parts similar to wehlener sonnenuhr. Bernkasteler badstube – weathered devon slate, with blue slate and loam

Wines of Chateau Musar
Chateau musar was founded in 1930 by gaston hochar in bekaa valley of lebanon. It wasn't until gaston's son serge took over the helm in 1959 that wines gained its notoriety. After receiving recognition from Michael broadbent at 1979 bristol wine fair, chateau musar drew an international cult-like following ever since. Owing to his inspiring determination and passion for his wines, serge received an inaugural 'man of the year' from decanter magazine in 1984, and is one of the most written-about and discussed wine today. Estate blanc are made from ancient lebanese grape varieties obaideh and merwah. Reputedly the ancestors of chardonnay and semillon. The vines are phylloxera-free on their original roots, and its style is rich and intensely aromatic. Estate rouge are made with combination of cabernet sauvignon, carignan and cinsault. Wines are bottle aged for of 7 years before release, and are capable of prolonged aging
