"We will be featuring 5 wines from the Eguren Ugarte Family. The family's vine-growing and wine-making history dates back to 1870 when Modesto Ugarte started to grow his own vines. In 1989 his grandson, Victorino Eguren Ugarte, built the new winery in Laguardia-Rioja Alavesa, at the foot of his vineyards. The fourth generation of the family and their team are now responsible for the historic "Heredad Ugarte" winery, combining technology with tradition to make excellent wine."
