Whether it’s the of satisfaction of supporting the farmer next door, the nutritional integrity of produce grown in rich living soil, or the superior flavor of vegetables picked hours before you eat them, there is a lot to love about local food. Over the last 9 years the Nehalem River Inn has built a reputation for excellence using the finest ingredients cooked to perfection. Over the fall and winter of 2012 we will be transitioning into new management and adding to that legacy with a menu that showcases grass fed meats and organic produce grown as close as possible to where you plunge a fork into them. We believe that where food comes from is every bit as important as how it is prepared, we’re sure your taste buds will agree. Local, it’s what’s for Dinner. This adventure would not be possible without the support and guidance by Ryan and Nicole Hamic, we are so thankful to them for this opportunity. Working with them has been a real pleasure.
