Michael has operated a retail flower shop for 39 years and was inducted in AIFD, (American Institute of Floral Designers) in 1991. In the past he won Teleflora 's Design America Competition in 1992 and represented the United States at Floriade in Holland for Teleflora's International Design Competition. He taught floral design as a guest designer in Taiwan. As a member of Teleflora's Endorsed Designer Team he presented design programs in many states.
