Testimonials
KK, Cambridge
"When someone designs for your home, they are basically conducting an orchestra made up of many different instruments. Some of the instruments are hard to find; sometimes the timing of the different parts needs to be tweaked a bit; and sometimes the cost of putting on the symphony seems to be too much. You need to find the right conductor to keep it all together. As a designer and project manager, Heidi is that kind of conductor." "I would absolutely work with Heidi again. I regret that my bathrooms had already been finished before I commissioned Heidi, because her tile work is very intricate and fabulous."
ML, Wellesley
"We decided to work with Heidi again because we were so pleased with her design for our other home. She has a real gift with colors, and can design a home so that the colors throughout the entire home flow seamlessly from room to room.” "Heidi's ultimate strength - and it's very unique - is her gift with colors, patterns, and forms. You have to trust that it will all look magnificent as a grouping in the end, even if the individual pieces don't really make sense along the way."
AKSH, Washington DC
“Heidi has a superb, modern take. The result is sophisticated and really great-looking. Our home is historically accurate and a real jewel in the neighborhood.” "Her genius comes from her intuitive color sense. If you can come anywhere close to describing the color you want, she can give you exactly what you want. She puts her heart and soul into every project. She's delightful and a lot of fun to work with." "Seven years later, and our home doesn't look dated at all. We have dogs and kids and we're all living really comfortably with this design, and we're still getting great reactions when people come over for the first time. We know our house isn't like any other house in DC, and we think that's great."
TDH, Boston
"People who appreciate great design should hire Heidi Pribell. Heidi has boundless enthusiasm. She has an amazing eye and an incredible sense of detail. She really made a difference between our having a 'nice' design and a really fabulous design. Not over-designed fabulous,' - just fabulous." She can see and assess very quickly what will make the difference in a particular space. She comes to meetings with her own ideas, but is very respectful of the fact that not everyone is quite as adventurous as she is. She listens really well, and then can not only make your ideas happen, but happen better."
Services
Deciding how to present your home upon its sale is among the most important issues faced by sellers of residential real estate. In today's competitive market, how does a seller differentiate a property from the competition? What must be done to attract the attention of – and ultimately an offer from – its target buyer? An increasing number of sellers in high-cost real estate markets from coast-to-coast recognize the benefits of home staging:
More offers
Quicker sales
Higher prices
Staging a home for sale typically involves four steps
We schedule an on-site meeting to become familiar with the style and scale of the property to analyze how best to stage the listing.
We determine the amount of furnishings needed after receiving a floor plan.
This is followed by a proposal to the seller that provides pricing for the rental of furnishings (two-month minimum) and cost of services, including design, packing, moving, installation and removal of furnishings.
Once an agreement is signed and a 50% deposit is received, the design and decision-making process begins.
Upon advance notice (minimum of one week), home staging begins and is completed in up to three days.
