Anita Pietrofitta, L.Ac, Dipl. Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM), is an acupuncturist licensed in both California and nationally.
She graduated from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in San Francisco and was drawn to the beauty and peace of Lake Tahoe to start her practice. Previous to this, Anita had a 22-year career as an engineer working for Intel, McDonnell Douglas and Motorola. During that time she was introduced to Jin Shin Jyutsu (a form of acupressure) which started her on her path of studying energy medicine. She is a practitioner of Jin Shin Jyutsu, and spent many years studying under an intuitive energy healer, as well as a Cherokee elder and a Tibetan monk of the Bön lineage. She is currently pursuing her clinical doctorate in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) with an emphasis on pain management and women's health and is on a path to become fully certified as a practitioner of Acutonics, a method of harmonic medicine and sound healing.
During her 4 year TCM education, Anita traveled to Shanghai twice to train at the Yue Yang Hospital, focusing on neurology and gynecology.
Upom receiving her acupuncture license, Anita traveled to Bali to attend Doula training and provided acupuncture services at a natural childbirth center as well as a general women's health and pediatrics community clinic.
Anita is thrilled to have met and be mentored by Stephen Barr
as his approach to healing combines the essence of all of the energy medicine approaches she has studied into a method that is a core transformational journey for each patient.

Lucinda Sayre, CMT, CTHom
Lucinda Sayre, CMT, Certified Massage Therapist and CTHom, Certified Trained Homeopath, has been practicing massage therapy since 1992 and still loves massage.
She has experience doing many types of body work including sports massage, deep tissue, the Trager approach and Lomi Lomi and often uses hot stones and aromatherapy in her work.
Lucinda is also a Certified Trained Homeopath practicing Classical Homeopathy.
The homeopathic approach was first discovered by Dr. Samuel Hahnemann in the late 1700's in Germany. He discovered that "the most therapeutic substances were those that could cause the most similar symptoms if taken by a healthy person. Homeo means similar. Pathy means suffering. Similar Suffering. The basic principle in Homeopathy is to find a substance that has the ability to cause suffering in a healthy person and then use that substance energetically (in an infinitesimal dose) to help a person who is suffering in a similar fashion".
Classical Homeopathy is sometimes referred to as Spiritual Homeopathy.
In a session, Lucinda works with clients to learn "what's asking to be healed?" through compassionate curiosity, observation and inquiry into their physical, emotional and mental symptoms and complaints. This process of discovery during a session is itself a healing journey. A homeopathic remedy most appropriate for the individual is then chosen based on classical homeopathic principles.
No homeopathic remedies are/were ever tested on animals.
Since homeopathic remedies have no chemical toxicity, they are safe for everyone including infants, children, pregnant women, and seniors as well as wild or domestic animals.
