Veterinary Services

Whether your cat needs shots, emergency surgery or a better diet, our helpful staff of vets and vet techs can help.

When you bring in your dog to be bathed and groomed you can be assured that not only is your pet getting experienced and kind treatment, it is also near medical staff that can detect early symptoms and potential threats.

Our facility boasts an in-house diagnostic laboratory, x-ray and ultrasound.

We can provide your pet with pre-anesthetic testing, thyroid testing, heartworm, FIV/Felv, fecal testing, urine testing, blood sugar screen and other while-you-wait exams that allows us to treat your pet quickly and efficiently.

Common Procedures

Alongside more common procedures, like spaying and neutering, we also offer expert internal medicine and such procedures as c-sections, bone setting and casting, declawing, dental cleaning and extractions, as well as other major, minor and cosmetic surgery.

Please call in advance for an appointment.

While walk-ins are always welcome, walk-in patients may have to wait a little longer while the doctors treat patients with appointments. Emergencies, of course, demand priority and we appreciate your understanding in those cases.

Policy

We require an examination prior to any procedures and prescribe antibiotics after all surgical procedures. We accept pet insurance.

For all spay, neuter and declaw surgeries, we ask that your pet arrive between 9:00 am and 12:00 noon, by appointment.

Do not feed or give water to your pet 8 hours prior to surgery. Your pet will return home the same evening, unless otherwise instructed by the doctor.

Payment is due at the time of patient’s release.

We accept cash, Visa and Mastercard.

We do not accept personal checks.

Payment plans are an option in special cases.

Grooming Policy

Service

In order for us to provide you with the best possible service and give each of our customers a satisfying and personal experience we ask that you call us in advance to make an appointment for grooming.

Walk-ins are welcome but due to the time-consuming nature of the work we may not always be able to accommodate you.

Our salon is open from 9am to 7pm. Last appointment is at 4pm.

All pets coming in for grooming must be in good health and have current vaccinations and proof.

If we discover any medical problems with your pet we will alert our veterinary staff and treat the animal with your permission. Dogs and cats with fleas are given medicated flea baths at your expense ($10) in order to protect our facility and other clients from further infestation.

Our prices may vary based on the individual condition of your pet and individualized requests so the final price may be higher than listed.

The factors that affect the final price are based on coat and skin condition, health, type of cut and the animal’s behavior. If necessary, with your written permission we can administer mild sedation for cases with problematic behavior.

Individualized requests like show cuts are also factored into the final price.

While grooming usually takes 3 hours, it may take longer if the coat is matted. We may recommend shaving in extreme case to avoid skin injury and excessive stress.

Other circumstance that may extend your pet’s stay with us include behavior problem such as aggressive or fearful animals.

An aggressive animal usually needs the attention of more than one staff member and animals that are frightened by the table dryer need to be cage dried, which takes longer.

Hotel

As pet owners ourselves we understand that you can’t always take your pet with you.

That is why we boast a luxurious pet hotel. Whether you want to take a family vacation, going away on business or simply don’t want your pet to be alone while you’re at work we are here to provide you with a solution.

We are so proud of the high quality of our services that as part of our transparency policy we installed webcams in every enclosure.

Now, if you find yourself missing your four legged companion or simply want to make sure we are doing our job right, you can take a look at your pet from anywhere in the world with our webcams. Each guest gets a username and password so you (and only you) can check up on your pet anytime and from anywhere.

Dogs

We will provide your pet with a comfy and roomy place to sleep, a playground for exercise, toys, choice food, and nearby medical staff.

We do make special accommodation upon request (two pets staying together, special foods, favorite toys, etc.). We welcome you to stop by and tour our facilities before leaving your pet in our care.

You can rest easy or work without worrying about your pet’s welfare as our staff will walk them, feed them, play with them and maintain a clean and healthy environment for them to stay in.

Cats

Unlike our canine guests, cats require less space and feel much more secure in smaller enclosures.

However, our condos are not small and we do offer double and even triple accommodations upon request. If you have multiple cats, the condos are perfect, doubling as a sort of an apartment building, where each has both sufficient personal space and the company of familiar friends.

We have litter boxes, food dishes and toys for them to play with, but feel free to bring your own.

Just like with our doggie guests, we take the time to play with your cat, and make sure their stay is as stress free as possible.

Policy

Our policy is designed to protect all of our hotel guests (including your pet) from any illnesses.

To make sure that all of our visitors leave in the same healthy state they came in or even make some improvements.

In order to achieve that goal we require that all animals accepted into our hotel have current vaccinations with proof in order to protect our facility and our other clients.

During flea season we require flea protection. In your presence we will inspect your pet for any medical problems and let you know of them in advance.

For dogs, we require that they have current rabies, distemper booster and Bortadella (kennel cough) vaccinations.

Cats are also required to be flea free, and have current Rabies and Distemper vaccinations, as well as proof the cat is FIV/FELV negative.

Having veterinary staff in the same facility we can offer to update all of your pet’s vaccinations and attend to any medical conditions before your pet is admitted to our hotel.

When you are leaving your pet in our care

Please let us know of any food preferences and sensitivities, feeding and walking schedules as well any outstanding medical conditions we should be aware of in order to provide your pet with the best care possible.
