The restaurant features classic Italian cuisine with a nod towards today's lighter sauces and appreciation for the fresh-grown ingredients of our region. The Cantina, with the same menu, provides an intimate space for meetings, parties and other gatherings. Dolce Vita is casual and inviting, the coziness of the room set off by a trompe d'oeil of Rome's Spanish Steps and scenes of the Tuscan countryside. The wood burning brick oven sports a relief "face" of a patrician Roman, with the oven opening as the "mouth." The Cantina, located in a small, separate building next door, offers the same intimate atmosphere as the restaurant. Dolce Vita has been a neighborhood institution and a destination for those "in the know" for fifteen years. Among it's many awards, Dolce Vita was named in America's Top 1,000 Italian Restaurants in the USA by Zagat Survey 2009.
