Fried Chicken
Serving fried chicken "family style" for brunch seemed like a natural fit. We think there are few things better then a big platter of fried chicken with deviled eggs, pickles, buttermilk ranch and great sides to share
Michael Stoltzfus and Lillian Hubbard opened Coquette on the corner of Washington Ave. and Magazine Street in December 2008. The Garden District building was built in the late 1880's and has been among other things a residence, grocery store, auto parts store and a number of restaurants. With dining rooms on two floors and a 14 seat bar Coquette serves American food with an ever evolving menu that focuses on local and seasonal products. Dinner is served seven days a week 5:30 until 10:00 and lunch Wednesday thru Saturday 11:30 until 3:00. The upstairs dining room is available for private parties. The chef, Michael Stoltzfus, was born and raised on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. He moved to New Orleans in early 2007 and spent the next year and a half working at Restaurant August. Michael is both the chef and owner of Coquette, along with his partner Lillian Hubbard.
