In the late 70's, three friends came from Paris, France to Austin, Texas with their hearts full of hopes and their minds set on opening a true, simple, independent french restaurant in the "Violet Crown City". In February of 1982 CHEZ NOUS was opened. Sybil Reinhart-Regimbeau, Robert Paprota, and Pascal Regimbeau had reached their dreams together, and with the help of the whole Chez Nous family, have given to the Austin community a slice of their native culture.
