Music Theatre & Drama
Our Theatre program is designed for students who want to gain the skills and confidence necessary to excel in stage performance. Our classes address everything you need to become a triple threat -- acting, voice, choreography -- whether you are a beginning or veteran performer. We strive to prepare students for school, community and professional opportunities!
Elementary Theatre
Grades K-2: Tuesdays, 6:00pm to 7:00pm Thursdays, 5:00pm to 6:00pm Grades 3-5: Tuesdays, 7:00pm to 8:00pm Thursdays, 6:00pm to 7:00pm Classes for grades K-5 cover acting, voice, choreography and presentation skills. Beginning students find our ET classes to be an excellent introduction to the theatre arts. Veteran performers are challenged with more difficult roles and concepts. All Elementary Theatre students participate in hands-on activities, improvisation exercises and theatre games - all designed to strengthen their on-stage skills and build technique while having fun and learning life skills. All Elementary Theatre students will participate in the spring Broadway Jr production! First class is FREE!

Disney Kids
Mondays, 7:00pm to 8:00pm A super-fun, high-energy mix of music, singing and movement that will capture the magic of Disney's songs and spirit! Students grades 2-5 will focus on skills such as diction, pitch, rhythm, tempo, blending and vocal projection. Amp up your performance with presentation and showmanship technique. Perform in an amazing, end-of-year showcase, as well as other performance opportunities! First class is FREE!

Joy of Acting
Ages 8 to 11 years: Saturdays, 9:30am to 10:30am, Ages 12 to 18 years: Saturdays, 10:45am to 11:45am, Ages 19 to 30 years: Saturday, 12:00noon to 1:00pm Our Joy of Acting classes have been specially designed for students on the Autism spectrum! The exciting, fast-paced classes focus on the development of social skills through the use of wild and crazy theatre games! Improvisation and comedy will be used to discover each student's unique abilities and to provide an exciting and supportive environment in which to learn key social skills. Top quality instruction in a positive, rewarding environment with a short presentation at the end of each semester. Broadway Bound
Thursdays, 7:15pm to 8:15pm Preparation techniques and performance readiness for the student who wants to audition for school, community theatre, college, and beyond! With advanced scene work and solo/ensemble vocal performance, students grades 6-12 gain valuable knowledge and first-hand experience in the art of auditioning and performance. Students have various performance opportunities throughout the year. Auditions or teacher recommendation required. First class is FREE!

Theatre Productions
One of the most effective tools for developing performance technique is to perform! We have several theatre productions scheduled throughout the year, both musical and non-musical, to give students as much stage time as possible. The more time on stage, the more growth that results! We are expecting to have four large productions this year for grades K-12. Please check back for updates, follow us on facebook and subscribe to our mail list. A Christmas Carol Production
Mondays, 4:30pm to 6:00pm A Christmas Carol 2014 will be our 3rd annual production of this holiday classic! Now one of our favorite traditions, this non-musical stage adaptation will be directed by Sheri Lahris and performed by students grades 4-12. Showtimes for A Christmas Carol are tentatively scheduled for Saturday, December 7 at 2pm and 7pm. If you are interested in participating in this production, contact us via email immediately. The casting is almost complete, with only a few roles left to be filled. Classes will begin in September! Stay tuned for venue and ticket information!

Dickens' A Christmas Carol
Saturday, December 7 at 2:00pm and 7:00pm. Our 2014 production of this holiday classic will be our 3rd annual - it's guaranteed to be a new family tradition for you, too! Our theatre students from grades 4 to 12 will present you with a wonderful show sure to get you in the holiday spirit. All of your favorite characters await, including Bob Cratchit, the visiting spirits, Scrooge himself, and of course Tiny Tim! Showtimes are tentative subject to change based on venue availability. Fall Costume Recital
Saturday, November 15. This Recital will feature our instrumental and vocal students in a more casual, relaxed event. Students are encouraged to dress the part of the piece they are performing! Recital programs will be held throughout the day. Family and friends are encouraged to attend - the recitals are free and open to the public. Recital times and programs will be posted 2 weeks prior to performance. Location to be announced.
