Puppy Training
Puppy Prep
This class focuses on proper puppy socialization. Class includes puppy playtime and teaching some basic obedience skills such as sit, down and come when called. We show you how to control puppy behaviors including play-biting, jumping, chewing, and house training. Safe and appropriate toys, chews, and nutrition are also covered. Class is limited to eight puppies. Class is 6 weeks. All classes are approximately 1 hour each week. Prerequisites: Puppies must be less than 18 weeks at the start of class and have had their first DAPP vaccinations. Includes optional puppy play time on Wednesday, Thursday or Saturday. This is limited to customers currently enrolled in Calling All Dogs Puppy Prep or Wonder Pups classes.

Wonder Pups / AKC Star Puppy
Ready to take your puppy's training to the next level? This fun fast-paced continuation of our beginning Puppy Prep expands your puppy's obedience and socialization skills and more emphasis is placed on obedience commands. All Classes are approximately 1 hour each week. Puppies attending all six classes will be eligible to enroll in the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program. Puppy test will be administered at the end of the course. Upon passing the test, your puppy will receive the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Medal from the AKC. Prerequisites: Graduation from Calling All Dogs Puppy Prep. Includes optional puppy play time on Wednesday, Thursday or Saturday. This is limited to customers currently enrolled in Calling All Dogs Puppy Prep or Wonder Pups classes.

Einstein Pups
This class is for friendly puppies that have completed Wonder Pups. This class prepares you and your dog for our Prestigious Pooch class and sporting classes. We continue working on focus with distractions, leash walking with your puppy, recalls with loads of distractions and teaching your dog to stay while other dogs and people are moving around. We also learn some new recall techniques, cues for sports classes and we dabble with a few tricks! Prerequisites: Graduation from Calling All Dogs Wonder Pups class or by instructor approval.

Puppy Socialization Party
This party is not just packed with fun, it will help you socialize your puppy to sights, sounds and objects you may not have ready access to on your own. Each unique party includes people in costumes, walking on strange surfaces, seeing different moving objects as well as desensitization to sounds and grooming.

Puppy Camp

Tuesday thru Friday from 8 am - Noon. We know how much work puppies require and we want to help. Our solution is a 4 day puppy camp where your sweet puppy stays with our patient, knowledgeable trainers and assistants and has a whole lot of fun! During camp, your puppy will have positive social experiences such as new sounds, new visitors, different surfaces, and different environments! We will focus a lot on socializing your puppy not only to other puppies but to things they may encounter throughout their life. Your puppy will be taught some basic manners, play with other puppies, work on potty training and/or crate training, puppy biting, handling, and much more! They will have training time, socialization time, play time, a lunch break, and of course, nap time. After each day you will be given updates on your puppy as well as tips on how to continue training with them at home. During our Puppy Camp, we will work on sit, down, touch, come when called, name game, sit to greet and other life skills important to your puppy. Puppies must be 8-16 weeks of age and need to have their first set of shots. Maximum of 6 puppies per camp session. Your Puppy is eligible for Puppy Camp up to 16 weeks old, and can join as many sessions as you would like. Puppies who have taken Puppy Prep are welcome to do Puppy Camp! It is also a good idea for you and your puppy to join our Puppy Prep classes so you can learn too! Puppies who are currently enrolled in Puppy Camp may attend our Puppy Play sessions for the same week.

We all know how important it is to get your puppy out and socialize. But did you know that it is not only how much you get them out, but also what type of socialization they get? Bring your puppy to a safe environment that is overseen by an instructor well versed in body language and appropriate play to ensure your puppy gets the BEST possible experience!
Essential Basics
Basic Manners
For dogs older than 18 weeks with no previous formal training or who could use a brush-up on some good manners! This course involves learning all the basic cues necessary for a well-trained dog. We will also show you the most effective way to help change those unwanted behaviors such as, jumping, barking, pulling on the leash as well as other valuable handling techniques. All Classes are approximately 1 hour each week.

This level two course is offered to dogs who have completed a Basic Manners course but may need a little more work on distance, duration, and distraction. Intermediate - Advanced Obedience
Real World: House Manners
A level two class to help you and your dog apply the skills learned in Basic Manners to challenges you face at home. Work on teaching your dog to be calm when the door bell rings and guests enter, not to beg from the table or shop from your counter tops and take your recall and loose leash walking and leave it's to the next level. All six week are in the classroom. The course prepares you for our Prestigious Pooch class and other level three classes. All classes are approximately 1 hour each week. Prerequisite: Basic Manners or equivalent.

Real World Manners
A level two class to help you and your dog apply the skills learned in Basic Manners to real world situations. Dogs learn to stay connected to handlers with more difficult real life distractions while working on their recall, loose leash walking, stay, wait leave it and more. Class spends 2 weeks on foundation skills in the classroom and 4 weeks on locations around the Salt Lake Valley. This six week course prepares you for our Prestigious Pooch class and other level three classes. All classes are approximately 1 hour each week. Prerequisite: Basic Manners or equivalent.

Walk This Way
A level two class for dogs that pull on their leash or are excited greeters. This 4 week class builds connection between handler and dog so they walk as a team! Spend two weeks in the classroom learning basic skills to keep your dog focused, then take your skills on the road with two weeks on location in the Salt Lake Valley. Prerequisite: Basic Manners or Wonder Pups.

Come Over Rover
This 4 week long class will help prepare you and your dog for any and all distractions involved when teaching your dog to come when called. The distractions will include people, other dogs, food, toys and MORE! This is a great class for handlers and their dogs to build a connection while learning a very valuable training behavior. Come Over Rover Level 2
This Level 2 class takes your come when called command and goes out on the road. This class is held for four weeks at different locations across the Salt Lake Valley. Each week will hold new challenges and distractions setting up multiple training opportunities to solidify a fantastic come when called command! Pre-Reqs Come Over Rover Level 1.

Prestigious Pooch
This level three class prepares your dog for the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) test. The CGC test is awarded by the AKC and open to all dogs, purebred and mix breeds. Upon graduation from this class, dogs will be eligible for testing for the Canine Good Citizen certification. You can have the "model dog"...and the papers to prove it. All Classes are approximately 1 hour each week. Prerequisite: Beyond Basics or equivalent. Cost of class includes the official test.

Out and About
If your dog is social around other dogs and people and has completed one of our level two classes then you are ready for stepping Out & About! The first week of class you will meet in our classroom to learn skills specificly needed to take your training on the road. For the next 5 weeks class meets at a different location around the Salt Lake Vally. The class gets to chose locations so every sessions is different! Now you can take your basic manners on the road, under the close supervision of our C.A.D. trainers. All Classes are approximately 1 hour each week. Prerequisite: Beyond Basics, Einstein Pups or Real World Manners.

K9 Nosework
Dogs naturally use their noses to hunt & find things, now you can use that to teach scent detection! Whether you're just looking for something fun to do, or looking for a new competive sport, Nosework will provide you & your dog with tons of fun! This class includes extensive training in box work. All handlers must bring a crate, as all dogs are crated between runs.

Calling All Therapy Dogs
This class will prepare you and your dog for Animal Assisted Therapy. Therapy work is a rewarding activity for both members of the team! Learn how to support your dog during therapy visits and help them be well mannered with high distractions such as wheelchairs, walkers, and other distractions unique to therapy work. Class will examine how to read your dogs signs of stress, position them for visits of all kinds in all locations and communicate with your dogs and people. Prerequisite: Beyond Basics, Real World Manners or by trainer approval.

Agility for Fun!
If your goal is to be a Master Agility Champion or just play in your back yard Agility for Fun lays the foundation for you. This class is a fun, foundation course to teach your dog the body mechanics and confidence needed to start training on competition level agility equipment. The course uses foundation equipment so when your dog starts on competition agility obstacles they do so safely without injury. We will use the plank, ladder and wobble board to lay the foundation. The dogs will start using a competition tunnel and pause table and we will use these five obstacles to begin sequencing into a mini-agility course. The class does not cover contact obstacles, jumping or weaves. Prerequisite is Basic Manners, Wonder Pups or by trainer approval. All handlers must bring a crate, as all dogs are crated between runs.

Agility - Intro to Equipment
In this level 2 agility class you will begin contact training for the dog walk, teeter, and aframe. Foundation jumping is covered as well as begining handling moves such as the front cross. You will build on the foundation your dog laid in Agility for Fun with the tunnel and pause table. Learn how to read course maps and what different agility venues require for competition. Weave poles are not covered. Pre-requisite is Agility for Fun! or by trainer approval. All handlers must bring a crate, as all dogs are crated between runs.

Rally for Fun!
Rally Obedience is a fun, energetic way to start into the exciting world of dog obedience. In class teams learn to move at their own pace through a course of 10 to 20 stations. Class covers heeling, finishes, fronts and signals. Prerequisite: Basic Manners or equivalent.

Clicks and Tricks
Clicks and tricks class will teach you how to shape, lure, and capture interesting, fun and useful tricks! The sky is the limit, teach your dog anything from shake and roll over to fetching items by name and putting away their toys! The laid back atmosphere, work at your own pace, and choose your own curriculum structure makes this class a must for anyone looking for a stress free way to strengthen their relationship with their dog! In continuing tricks classes you will build on the tricks your started in Clicks and Tricks, continue to work on getting your tricks on verbal cues, combine your tricks into a trick show and more! Behavior Solutions
Confident Canine
Fearful dogs can be afraid of many different things. Triggers can include humans, noises, objects, or situations such as the vet. Changing the way your fearful dog feels can be a challenging, yet rewarding, process! Confident Canine is a behavioral modification program aimed at helping fearful dogs experience less fear and enjoy life. Class addresses desensitization and counterconditioning to multiple triggers. You will learn how to enrich your dogs daily life while limiting exposure to things that scare them. Feisty Fido
Our Feisty Fido program uses scientifically sound counter conditioning and systematic desensitization methods to help leash reactive dogs feel comfortable and behave appropriately around other dogs while on-leash. This program also gives handlers the skills they need to be able to take their dogs out on-leash and smartly avoid conflicts. Creating a Confident Canine
Having a fearful dog presents a unique set of challenges. Dogs may be afraid of sounds, storms, people, other dogs, changes in the environment or have generalized anxiety. No matter what your dog is afraid of you can help them feel more confident. In this seminar you will see photo's and demonstrations to help you identify the signs of stress and fear in dogs. Learn about the effect fear has on your dog's body and how it affects their behavior. We will discuss how to change the way your dog feels about their triggers using the methods of counterconditioning and desensitization. Potty Training Seminar
