I was born in Japan. After my culinary training in Australia, France and Tokyo, I decided to open my own restaurant in Hawaii. Since 1997, with gratitude and thanks to the continued patronage of our customers who have increased by word of mouth, Café Miro has become the quality restaurant it is today. After 10 years of business I feel Café Miro has now earned membership in the family of local restaurants.The word “restaurant” originates from the Latin “restauro”, which means to heal or repeatedly improve. When people have finished a delicious meal they have a happy, contented face. This is my wish for Café Miro.
