The Med opened in 2000 originally called Cafe Med. The creation of Chef Doug Nassar was based on the demand of fresh, local, Mediterranean style cooking. The Med is a family owned and operated restaurant that believes in the highest quality foods at reasonable prices should be the standard dining experience. The Med values family and community, that is why it actively supports and sponsors many non-profit organizations. In addition to supporting nonprofits, The Med conducts business with as many local and family-owned purveyors as possible.
