When Bob Carson quietly opened Bob-B-Q, his new restaurant in December 1999, a whopping 95 customers came in the door. Since then, Bob-B-Q has become an award winning Barbecue and Catering business.
Besides barbecue, Mr. Carson cooks up fried and barbecued chicken, fried chicken livers, fried super clams, shrimp, and flounder. We also sell a "Bubba Burger" (not the Wal-Mart brand), as well as texas style beef brisket and a variety of deserts and sides, including bananna pudding and fried green tomatoes.
The restaurant itself seats only 60 people, but that isn't a problem since about 60% of the business comes from takeout and catering. As a matter of fact, most of our ads urge customers to "pig in or pig out".
