Passionate about authentic Thai home cooking, Chanh and Ngane Phommachanh, (both Thailand natives) opened the first Bangkok Garden Thai Cuisine restaurant in the San Francisco area in 1986. The Couple's primary goal was to open a restaurant where customers can enjoy quality home cooking at a fraction of the cost. They have always prided themselves on using the freshest ingredients, spices and produce which can be found in every dish including their signature recipes, which vary from their house sweet and sour sauce or their specialty Thai curries. In 2005 The Phommachanh family decided to launch the Bangkok Garden Thai Cuisine restaurant in the Sacramento/Natomas area. Since the restaurant launched in 2005, it quickly became Sacramento’s favorite Thai restaurant. You can still find the best ingredients that craft authentic Thai cuisine and complement it with an excellent selection of wine or beer.
