Its soul is housed in each carefully selected piece of recovered wood used to create the artfully carved chairs and tables; beautiful stained glass windows; and majestic antique doors that have been restored to their former glory. Every detail tells the story of an old row house in need of repair, now transformed into a resuscitated space with apparent touches of architectural vision. Beyond the aesthetic achievement of this once typical Baltimore row house turned tropical paradise, Arcos personifies Ramos’ greatest attribute – his ability to see beyond “what is” and visualize the potential of “what can be.”
